Headed to versailles. It was a pain to get here! My extensive research (including rick steves video on how to get to versailles from paris) all said that you go to any rer c stop in paris (there are 5 or so). We did. We bought tickets to versailles then went to the platform that said verailles. I ask a guy that works there. And no. This is not the train to the verailles that we want. We must take a bus. This was all in french. And I basically understood that I needed an "autobus" and not the train we were standing next to. So we left the area. And found footsteps that were painted on the floor with "bus" written on them. So we followed the footprints. We got on a bus (which is so not an efficient method of travel!..we cld of gotten to our destination in half the time on the metro. And they dropped us at a metro stop! Oh well. But from this metro/rer c station we easily found the correct train. And now we are on it. On our way to versailles. Yay!

Ok. So todays summary:
We slept in. Then headed to montmartre. We ate at a diner. Then went to the moulin rouge giftshop
Then to the montmartre cemetery
Then pics of the moulin rouge
Then over to the orangery. We saw monet's waterlilies. And a special exhibition of some Spanish artist that was really cool.
After we headed over to the Asian art museum. Lara wasn't thrilled to be there. But I like Hindu art. So we went. But not for long.
Then we went south to a street that had a Ben and jerrys. But sadly they didn't have any of the new flavors. But the website said that there were 2 other places that carried Ben and jerrys. So we found both of them. The 1st did not exist. The 2nd was a kiosk type thing that sold ice cream by the scoop. Epic fail. Oh well
In the middle of the Ben and jerrys search-we were near the cluny museum. So I decided to go there again. That was a fun side trip :)
Then we headed home. Ate dinner near home. Then as we crossed the street some backpackers asked me for directions. And I knew the answer! I even knew which metro stops and transfers. (mainly because they were going to montmartre. And we went there this morning. But still cool!)

We had a lovely lunch in montmartre. At a diner
Then visited the moulin rouge gift shop (which was more of a boutique). Then we went to the montmartre cemetery. Which was smaller than we expected. But really pretty. We saw tte graves of dumas (wrote 3 musketeers), Degas (painter) and zola (writer). Then we took pics of the moulin rouge.
Now we are on our way to the impressionist museum (d`orangerie)
